Ingredients
- 300g pork sausages
- 300g beef mince
- 2 eggs
- ½ small red onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2 tbsp cranberry sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed
- ¼ cup KookaKrumb Herb & Garlic Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp sage, chopped
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 2 sheets frozen puff pastry
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds Tomato sauce, to serve

Method:
- Preheat oven to 200°C (fan-forced 180°C). Line a large tray with baking paper.
- Squeeze sausage meat from skin and place in a large bowl with mince, one lightly beaten egg, onion, carrot, cranberry sauce, garlic, breadcrumbs, herbs and nutmeg. Season and stir to combine.
- Flour a surface and place puff pastry on it. Cut one sheet in half and join to the whole sheet with a 3cm overlap to make a large rectangle. You can use the excess pastry to decorate the sausage roll if you wish. Spoon filling along one long side of pastry and roll up enclosing the filling. Place on prepared tray. Beat remaining egg and brush over sausage roll. Sprinkle sesame seeds and bake for 45-50 mins or until filling is cooked through and pastry is golden.
