Marshmallows Easter Egg Nests

Bring the family together with this adorable and fun holiday recipe. They are sweet with a slight salty flavour that pops in mouth! Messy but so much fun! Why not use the excess melted choc for dipping fresh berries in for more fun and yum?

Serves 6

Ingredients:

  • 100g white chocolate
  • 120g Candy chocolate eggs
  • 50g salted pretzels
  • 50g salted pretzels
  • Fresh berries for dipping

Method

  1. Pierce a small cross in the middle of marshmallows.
  2. Crush pretzels into ground crumbs in a processor or with a rolling pin.
  3. Melt chocolate over low heat in small metal mixing bowl on top of a small pot of water. Stir till melted.
  4. Roll each marshmallow in the melted chocolate. Place marshmallows on a serving plate.
  5. Sieve pretzel crumbs over marshmallows then press a choc egg into the middle.

Served chilled with fresh berries dipped in melted chocolate.
